In this report, Forrester Research stated, “Sinequa augments intelligence en masse. Sinequa’s goal is to help organizations become ‘information driven’ by augmenting the intelligence of every employee. The company accomplishes this by surfacing knowledge, uncovering insights, and connecting experts via its cognitive search technology. Sinequa expertly balances using its own NLU technology in combination with the latest open source ML technology. It has significant industry expertise in and offers solutions for life sciences, financial services, and manufacturing.“
The Forrester Wave is a guide for buyers considering their purchasing options in a technology marketplace. The report included a total of 12 vendors evaluated on three categories of Current Offering, Strategy and Market Presence. Sinequa earned the highest possible score in the Current Offering category for the information criterion; in the Strategy category for the criteria of ability to execute, solution roadmap and customer service; and in the Market Presence category for the criterion of market awareness.
“We are pleased to have been recognized as a leader by Forrester in its report. By ingesting and analysing vast amounts of enterprise data, we enable our customers to provide their users with contextualised, actionable information to surface insights, inform decisions and elevate productivity,” said Alexandre Bilger, president and CEO at Sinequa. “We are confident in our platform and its ability to support organisations in sectors including financial services, manufacturing and pharma.“
The report further notes that, “Sinequa’s strengths are in data connectors, ingestion intelligence, intent intelligence, and tuning tools. Customers that have complex, high-value cognitive search applications will appreciate the depth and breadth of Sinequa’s ingestion intelligence,” and concluded that “Sinequa’s strong road map includes leveraging the latest open source AI technologies.”
The Sinequa platform was recently enhanced to present insights to end users through a responsive user interface design framework based on Angular 7. The platform now includes embedded online machine learning, enabling the application of machine learning models based on Spark or TensorFlow directly in the indexing pipeline, along with new capabilities for further automating the interpretation of meaning, including major enhancements to query intent and linguistic capabilities. Support for additional levels of encryption were also recently added, such as in-flight encryption between all components in a distributed deployment and encryption at indexing time to secure the document cache. Sinequa automatically refreshes data access controls when they change in enterprise access control directories.
