Paris/Frankfurt, January 15th 2015. Starting from January 2015, Matthias Hintenaus (51) is responsible for all sales activities of the French Big Data Search & Analytics specialist Sinequa in the German-speaking market. Before joining Sinequa, Matthias Hintenaus was Channel Director EMEA at Copy Data Management specialist Actifio. Previously he held responsible sales positions at, among others, ASG Software Solutions and Atempo Germany.

Matthias Hintenaus has 25 years of experience in domestic and international sales management of enterprise solutions. As new Sales Director DACH of Sinequa, he will continue with building up partnerships and implement customer projects in the German-speaking market. Sinequa addresses particularly large organizations with high demands on processing of strategic information that must be extracted from sometimes huge datasets. Typical application scenarios start at around one million documents and go up to hundreds of millions of documents and billions of database records.

Sinequa is able to analyze structured and unstructured data in very large quantities and extract relevant information for entitled personnel in their work environment. Market analysts such as Gartner, IDC, Forrester and Ovum have repeatedly confirmed the innovative position of the company; Gartner has positioned Sinequa once again as a visionary in their Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Search 2014, and as a leading European provider.

Numerous major customer projects in productive use, in Europe and the US, improve Sinequas technological leadership in Big Data real-time search and analytics, including AstraZeneca (in Europe and US), Biogen Idec (US), Airbus (Helicopters, Defence and Space), the French mobile and internet provider SFR, Siemens and large public sector organizations in France. In 2014, Sinequa has increased its workforce by 25%, showing its confidence in the market development substantiated by important customer projects. "Search and analytics technologies have entered companies' core business", says Alexandre Bilger, CEO of Sinequa. "Our customers implement very large and ambitious projects with an ROI often going into two-digit million figures."
