Paris, 27 April 2013 - Sinequa, one of the leaders in the Search, Unified Information Access (UIA) and Big Data market, is pleased to discover Gartner's new "Magic Quadrant" of the Enterprise Search* market, positioning Sinequa as one of the visionaries of the field, and crediting it with an "ability to execute" within this market.
After a break in the publication of Magic Quadrants for the Search market, Gartner has just released a new version, undoubtedly acknowledging the renewed dynamics in this market.
“This confirms our experience at Sinequa: we see much more ambitious projects in our customers’ organizations, projects that are much closer to the heart of their business. The value creation is correspondingly much higher than in the commodity projects of the past”, states Alexandre Bilger, CEO of Sinequa. “We are pleased to be positioned in this new Magic Quadrant as “visionary” with a solid “ability to execute”.”
Sinequa has indeed been able to realize – together with customers and partners – very large and ambitious search and UIA projects, certainly amongst the largest in Europe and possibly globally. Amongst the companies with such ambitious projects one finds Atos, a global IT consulting and services company headquartered in France, Crédit Agricole, one of the largest banks in the world, technology giant Siemens, a global powerhouse in electronics and electrical engineering, operating in the industry, energy, healthcare, and infrastructure & cities sectors, several French Ministries, including the Ministry of Defense.
With Sinequa’s built-in natural language processing capabilities covering languages spoken by 95% of the world’s population, including complex languages like Chinese, Japanese, German, Arabic, etc., and our extreme scalability, the company is uniquely positioned to play a major role in the very dynamic Big Data Market.
Sinequa is looking forward to the further evolution of our market, with ever more ingenious usages of search and UIA technology.
And the company is confident to see the “landscape” of the Magic Quadrant evolve in the coming year. Already now, one can see Search and UIA technologies with semantic capabilities emerging as key technologies in the Big Data market, such as Data Discovery Tools, Social Media Analytics, Content Analytics, Text Analytics, Web Experience Analytics, Extended BI, and many more.
