June 01, 2009 - Sinequa continues its expansion in 2009
After having recorded a turnover of $8.9M in fiscal year 2007-2008, Sinequa expects a turnover of $12.3 M for the 2008-2009 fiscal year (+38%).
In a difficult global context, Sinequa has managed to preserve its profitability excluding exceptional costs in order to maintain a stable level of activity. The geographic expansion of the company has continued with new customers outside of France and the opening of representative sales offices in Spain, South America and the United States. Finally, Sinequa has strongly developed its indirect activity through partnerships, an important step to further increase growth and profitability.
"This new stage was an important challenge for both the company and its customers and partners, who rely on an established software vendor. We are also pleased with the increase of direct sales in the UK and Spain," said Jean Ferré, President of Sinequa.
The market launch of Sinequa Corporate Search 7.0, including a press briefing in June, has demonstrated significant improvements in comparative tests. The results of the first customer deployments have been successful. Innovative and robust, Sinequa Corporate Search 7.0 will rely heavily on its partners to continue to emerge as the ultimate solution for large companies and administrations.
"I think it will become increasingly clear in the market: to address the problem of finding experts, implementing a unified search engine or a search engine to manage security, Sinequa Corporate Search 7.0 is needed. It is a high-end solution in terms of features, with a reasonable cost and easy implementation, regardless of the volume and heterogeneity of the environment," concluded Jean Ferré.
