Senior Sales Executive - New York City area

Your responsibilities:
  • Grow Sinequa's business with Fortune Global 2000 in the US
  • Understand and uncover customer requirements and business pains - mostly related to 360 views (of anything from R&D topics to customers) and to finding expertise /information within large organizations - and map these to our unique value proposition
  • Suggest marketing strategies / actions to build awareness within the territory and work on those activities in coordination with the Marketing Director
  • Participate in the weekly Sales Forecasting and Opportunity Management process
  • Involve Sinequa Management at key customer meetings
  • Support and represent Sinequa at local partner events and industry trade shows
Your profile:
  • You definitely have experience in selling enterprise software solutions to Global 2000 accounts and you are comfortable with complex sales processes including interactions with C-level executives
  • Experience in the following sectors would be a plus: Pharmaceutical, Finance, Legal
  • You have a proven track record in opening new accounts as a result of your own prospection (cold calls as well as using your network)
  • You have a proven track record of successfully building and closing large deals (with a minimum of 3 deals above $500,000 in the last 2-3 years)
  • You have a track record of exceeding your quota in the last 3-5 years
  • You have established a network of customers and partners in the area of Big Data, BI, Information Management, etc.
  • You understand a client's business, technology and process needs, and translate that understanding into effective, industry leading solutions
  • You understand technology capacity and are quick to grasp its potential for your customers. Experience in business intelligence software, data analytics software, enterprise search, or database/data warehousing platforms is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and communication skills are a must, and the ability to sustain frequent domestic travel and 5 to 10 trips per year to our HQ in Paris is essential
  • Your presentation style is engaging and inspiring
  • You are confident, giving due attention to detail, passionate about technology, and outward going with a good sense of humor
  • You have 5-8+ years of relevant experience
